The young Maria Corleone has moved from Palermo, Sicily to Milan and is realizing her dream of becoming a stylist; she has a partner, Luca Spada, a young prosecutor with whom she is expecting a child. Having returned to Sicily for the big party for her parents' wedding anniversary, she is involved in an attack that will change her life forever. Little by little Maria will enter the criminal mechanisms of the mafia, coming to terms with her conscience to defend the life and honor of the Corleones: but this will weigh dramatically on her relationship with Luca and their child.
